The aging cabinet adopts a fully enclosed structure equipped with fans and air outlets to control the ambient temperature during testing. It features multi-layer pull-out platforms for easy product loading and unloading. Adapter boards on the rack provide various interfaces required for testing, including input power, electrical signals, load connections, and output signal monitoring. These interfaces connect to the control cabinet, signal generator, and load unit via cables.
The control cabinet mainly manages the power-on and power-off of products under test. Each product has an independently controlled input power supply. If a product malfunctions, the system cuts off its power automatically, allowing operators to safely remove it during operation without waiting for the test to finish, greatly improving production efficiency. The control cabinet also switches product output signals to monitoring instruments for measurement, and the test software judges whether products are functioning normally based on real‑time data.
Monitoring instruments use NI data acquisition cards, which are mainly used to measure product output signals. They feature high measurement speed and excellent cost‑effectiveness, helping enterprises reduce equipment costs.
The industrial PC runs the dedicated test monitoring software and hosts the NI data acquisition cards.
Features of the Aging Cabinet
The size and structure of the aging cabinet can be customized and developed according to customer requirements and product characteristics.
The aging function subjects electronic components to high temperature while applying specified voltage and power based on process procedures.
Aging voltage, current, and temperature can be freely set by users according to production processes.
After products are loaded and the system starts, it automatically charges the products during the aging cycle.
When the preset aging time is reached, the system automatically discharges products to prevent potential harm to personnel and equipment.
The entire aging system is computer‑controlled, with key parameters set and adjusted directly on the PC.
Voltage, current, and other parameters can be monitored in real time during operation.
Real‑time monitoring can be implemented for each capacitor or each individual product based on user needs.
If a short circuit or excessive current is detected on any capacitor or product channel, the system automatically cuts off its power supply to avoid affecting other units.
The internal air duct is specially designed for chip capacitors, ensuring uniform temperature distribution with adjustable circulating air flow.
Customized aging fixtures are available to match specific customer products.
