How Does Burn-In Test Equipment Work?

A complete burn-in test system typically consists of these core parts:

Burn-In Rack / CabinetThe physical structure for mounting and fixing chargers under test. Available in cabinet, tunnel, shelf, and other formats based on production capacity.

Programmable Load SystemThe “brain and muscle” of the equipment. It simulates the power consumption of real devices (phones, laptops), applying precise voltage, current, and power loads — usually full load or 110%–120% overload.

Environmental Simulation System (High-Temperature Chamber)Most burn-in tests run under elevated temperature. The system heats and stabilizes the chamber at a set temperature (e.g., 45°C–60°C) to accelerate the aging of components and materials.

Data Acquisition & Monitoring SystemReal-time monitoring and recording of key parameters: input/output voltage & current, power, efficiency, temperature, etc. If values exceed thresholds, the system immediately alarms and locates the faulty unit.

Automatic Control SystemIntegrated PLC or industrial computer that coordinates the full automated test flow: power-on, load application, testing, power-off, data logging, and result judgment.
